Vine Tutoring Program

The Vine Ministry is a tutoring ministry that reaches out to families in the Kips Bay community through tutoring students and sharing the message of Christ with them, at no cost. Tutors and students gather on Saturday mornings for two hours, including a time of worship and hearing the Word of God.

Our mission is to transform lives through the love and compassion of Jesus Christ with the goals of: 1) building their confidence, 2) improving English and subject knowledge across all ages, and 3) teaching them Gospel.

2 Semesters: Fall (Oct-Dec) Spring (Feb-May)

Contact Aldo or Pastor Richard Aguirre if you’d like to volunteer as a tutor or if you’d like to enroll a student. Please note we have limited slots as we intentionally keep an ideal tutor to student ratio.

VOLUNTEERING AS A TUTOR

Contact Vine Admin for more information. There will be a google form to fill out with availability.
There are two semesters and we ask tutors to commit to one semester at a time. Tutors meet from 9:30-11:30am every Saturday when semesters are in session.
We ask tutors to be open and willing to teach a variety of grade school subjects such as English & Math. Bi-lingual proficiency is not required.

ENROLLING AS A STUDENT

Contact Vine Admin to enroll & there will be a registration Google Form.
We ask that students commit for both semesters (Fall & Spring) and be ready and willing to learn.
