The Welcoming team is comprised of young adults and college students who have a heart for serving newcomers. We meet Sunday mornings before service to pray and usher in our congregation so that they feel the warm and inviting presence of God as they prepare their hearts for worship.
Our purpose is to welcome all members (existing and new) brothers and sisters into God’s family. Our goal as a ministry is to care for, love, and be an additional touchpoint, especially for any new attendees, and that they may experience the tangible love of Jesus.

The word worship comes from the old English word worthship, meaning “to give worth and demonstrate value.” Worshipping Jesus is the act of ascribing the highest worth to God in all of life.
Music is a means to that end—a gift from God that allows us to ascribe him glory. God’s unique presence through song is testified throughout the Bible (Genesis 1:2; 4:21, Exodus 15, Deuteronomy 31:19, Psalm 100, Zephaniah 3:17, Matthew 26:30, Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 5:18-19, etc.). In fact, it is the second most-commanded practice in Scripture, following closely behind prayer.
In light of these truths, the Remnant Worship Ministry exists to catalyze the church to be disciples who live for the glory of God through corporate singing in Sunday gatherings, quarterly worship nights, the equipping of artists and musicians, and the creation of original music. As a ministry, we strive to be theologically rich, culturally diverse, and musically excellent.
The worship ministry includes the worship leaders, singers, instrumentalists and sound engineers who serve the church through their music making and support of worship services and other special events. Our role is to help create an environment where people can engage with God, both in expressing their worship as well as receiving the ministry of the Holy Spirit through the exercise of our musical gifts and spiritual discernment. -
Behind-the-scenes volunteers help all things audio and visual happen in our worship services. You will be on a team that presents slides and videos during worship, announcements, sermons, etc. and control light settings and video production onto YouTube. No prior experience is necessary. Training is provided.

We pray because God has chosen prayer as a means of working through his people to accomplish his purposes in the world. The intercessory Prayer team is a dedicated team of individuals who pray for our church regularly (Matthew 6:9, Acts 2:42, James 5:16).
A healthy church is a praying church. Prayer is at the heart of our relationship with God, and for this reason we delight to make prayer part of everything we do at Remnant. Being a committed member of Remnant is a pre-requisite of this team. -
The Events team fosters unity, fellowship, and community within the Remnant family through special events. The team creates opportunities for people, both new and regular attending members, to meet, connect, and build relationships.

Graphics/Multimedia team serves with creativity and visual arts. We provide consistent and active communication tools to stay connected throughout the week: Instagram account, and providing posters and photos for all ministries’ events and announcements. We also aim to be witnesses of Christ and tell stories (news) through the eyes of Jesus.
