Background: In 2H 2025, a team of church members, with support of our Pastors, developed a course to explore how we can connect our work to our faith. The goal of this course is to equip people with a biblical framework for integrating faith & work. Since the aim of this short-course is to provide a framework, this course will not be exhaustive, but our hope is that our church will gain a common foundation to engage in further discourse about faith & work across shared language.

Since work is a part of everyone's life, we highly encourage you to attend and participate.

The course teaching and content is created and compiled by Remnant Church members and primarily sourced from Timothy Keller’s book, Every Good Endeavor.

Weekly Format

Two-hour long in-person Monday night sessions from 7-9pm at our church building. We’ll begin with worship, go into a teaching on faith & work topics and then break out into smaller discussion groups to further reflect and engage with the topic. Please eat dinner beforehand or bring your dinner. Light snacks will be provided.

Course Design

Course includes teaching on specific topics, personal reflection questions, engagement/discussion groups, and "homework" so that everyone can reflect further after each session.

Attendance

We encourage people to attend as many of the 4-weeks as they can. Each session will build upon the foundation laid the prior week, but each week will be self-contained and can be understood individually. We understand if you need to miss a session unexpectedly (especially if you’re working late).
